France alternate Adidas White keeper shirt as was worn once against South Africa on Group C match, 12 June 1998 at Stade Vélodrome, Marseille. Match that France won 3-0 over South Africa. The shirt was long-sleeve, but Fabien Barthez the keeper was cut sleeve with scissors because the FFF had not planned to short sleeve jersey although temperatures in this season were high.
The White shirt also were seen on the pre-season International match before World Cup 1998 against Norway on February 25, 1998.
