Liverpool and New Balance revealed the 2018-19 home kit for the reds, with the brand-new custom typeface that will be used in international competitions as well as in cup matches. The font design references iconic on the main stadium signage at Anfield as well as that used on street signs throughout the city of Liverpool. In addition, depth is added to the numbering by incorporating the bold drop shadow seen in the seating within the stadium itself. Basic custom typhograhy is the Helvetica Neue Condensed Bold, additional number style for Liverpool's 2018-19 kits comes with Liverpool's crest on the bottom.
