The honour to the forgotten team that has born many legend before. Melaka FA or Malacca FA is the only team in Malaysian football competitions to represent the state status -State of Malacca, currently playin the third-tier division in Malaysian football, the Malaysia FAM League. The team that was founded in 1924 is based in Malacca Town. Their home stadium is the Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca Town which was built for the purpose of the 2010 Sukma Games. The club previously used the Hang Tuah, Stadium as their home venue. Malacca FA club's nickname was Mousedeer or Kancil (translate to Malay) before it was recently changed to Hang Tuah, the name being synonymous with strength and intelligence.
