Against Udinese, August 25, 2013 Italian club Lazio featured an anti-racism slogan on their shirts for their first match of the 2013/14 Italian Serie A season following racial abuse by their fans during the Italian Super Cup match against Juventus. Lazio were handed a one-match closure of their Curva Nord at the Stadio Olimpico.
The print featured ‘We Love Football; We Fight Racism’ on the front with black and white hand prints beneath.
This is not the first campaign that Lazio have featured an anti-racism slogan on their shirts as last year, they wore a shirt bearing the phrase ‘No Racism’.
