From 2009 through 2011 season, AS Roma still struggle with the manager post, Four manager in two season. Under Claudio Ranieri who replaced the Luciano Spalletti, manage bring the Roma a second place finish in 2009–10 and Runners-up Coppa Italia. Later Reneiri resigned as manager on 20 February 2011. He was immediattly replaced by Vincenzo Montella as a caretaker for the rest of the season.
