Nike launched the second generation of his Nike GS boot – Nike GS2,the Nike’s lightest, most environmentally friendly production boot ever made by the company.
The GS 2 builds on the first model, adding All Conditions Control (ACC) technology for enhanced ball control and a consistent feel in wet conditions. Designed and developed in Italy, new GS 2 features a black and white upper with a large, safari print ACC logo on the lateral side. Weighing in at only 160 grams, the GS 2 is built with renewable and recyclable materials, including a castor bean-derived sockliner and traction plate. The laces, lining and tongue are made from a minimum of 70% recycled materials, while the toeboard and collar feature at least 15% recycled materials.
Nike GS traction plate 2 chassis combines high performance with a strong agile and nimble. The base plate is made from renewable 50% Pebax? Rnew (a material made from plant-derived castor 97%) and 50% TPU made from renewable materials. The plate is 15% lighter than a traditional composition dish.The traction plate includes a column of diamond minimalist silhouette that offers great flexibility and agility in the performance of the board. While anatomically positioned nails maximize speed in various directions to ensure a swift and safe movement on the field. A solvent-free synthetic Kanga-Lite provides enhanced zonal for exceptional touch and control. The upper locking synthetic also supports midfoot and arch area. A special treatment during development of Kanga-Lite and provides optimum tactile feel of the ball in all conditions, and the technology Nike ACC is created by a special treatment during the development of superior materials.
The lining of half light and free of chemicals is made of 100% castor and eliminates all layers for a comfortable fit and enhanced touch with the ball. An anatomical heel counter and asymmetrical bucket and heel locks the foot down for stability and support.
